Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week on various days of the week
• Weekend shifts required per unit needs
• No on-call required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
• First-time travelers accepted as long as experience requirements are met
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)
• Charting experience in EPIC required
• Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4 during days and 1:5 during nights; ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs
• Candidates must be comfortable with and have prior experience working in environments with flexible staffing ratios
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs, including to a sister facility
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions on a 24-bed inpatient medical unit
• Work with an interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
• Required skills include isolation precautions/PPE, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, peripheral line care and management, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
