Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified MRI Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures adhering to policies and protocols while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to interpret and execute imaging requests.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure optimal operational performance.
- Adapt scheduling and shifts to meet unit and patient care demands, including some weekends.
- Float between certain locations as needed, supporting both inpatient and outpatient facilities.
- Document and manage patient records accurately and efficiently using EMR systems.
Qualifications
- Advanced MR licensure: ARRT or ARMRIT certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum one year of MRI tech experience required, with teaching hospital experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Phillips MRI equipment mandatory.
- Epic EMR experience within the past two years is essential.
- Prior travel experience is favored but not mandatory.
