Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Cath Lab Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
- Provide on-call support 6-9 days per month, including weekends.
- Assist in STEMI coverage, ensuring team readiness.
- Ensure proper equipment setup and maintenance.
- Maintain sterile technique during procedures.
- Document patient care and procedure details in the EPIC system.
Qualifications
- ARRT-R, ACLS, and BLS certifications required.
- Connecticut state license required; pending licenses accepted.
- Experience with fluoroscopy and Philips equipment necessary.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience; first-time travelers welcome.
- Ability to scrub in and assist during procedures.
- Experience in a Level II trauma center preferred.
