This position requires an 8-hour night shift with a commitment to 40 hours per week. There may be weekend and holiday coverage responsibilities as needed.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images are acquired. The role includes:

• Operating GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 MRI machines.
• Maintaining a patient volume of approximately 9 patients per shift.
• Collaborating with another Technologist or Tech Aide; solo work is not permitted.
• Managing after-midnight department calls and covering as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years current experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification in MRI is required.
• Experience working with GE equipment is essential.
• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings as necessary.
• Ability to take call as requested.
• Candidates must have their own vehicle for transportation.
• All requested time off must be noted and verified at the time of application submission.
• Travelers must comply with scheduling requests at the submission stage, as changes after that point will not be accepted.
• Must be reachable and have voicemail set up on their phones for communication.

Additional Information

Orientation will be non-billable for 8 hours. Holiday and overtime multipliers will apply.

Certification Requirements

• ARRT Certification in MRI
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
