Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in Emergency Room (ER) nursing. As an ER Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients in urgent and life-threatening situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Attention to Detail: Administer medications, assist in surgeries, and implement specific treatments where precision is vital.
• Organizational Skills: Manage multiple patients with diverse health needs, ensuring effective prioritization of care.
• Calm Under Pressure: Maintain composure and function effectively in high-stress, emergency scenarios.
• Patience: Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families who may be experiencing fear or distress.
• Communication Skills: Clearly communicate with patients and their families, addressing questions and concerns with empathy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience is required.
• Telemetry experience is preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC are required.
• Must possess a current, active nursing license in the state of Michigan at the time of application.

Additional Requirements

This position requires rotation through every other weekend, ensuring comprehensive care across all shifts while providing a 36-hour guarantee per week.
