Ultrasound Technician - Maternal Fetal

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Ultrasound Technician to join a high-risk OB clinic. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in various ultrasound procedures and assessments related to maternal fetal medicine.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform obstetric ultrasound examinations including 1st to 3rd trimester evaluations.
• Conduct comprehensive fetal anatomical surveys, fetal echo, and amniotic fluid index assessments.
• Evaluate high-risk pregnancies and manage complex cases such as multiple pregnancies, placenta previa, and umbilical cord abnormalities.
• Execute specialized procedures including amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS).
• Document findings accurately and maintain patient records in accordance with clinic protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in maternal fetal ultrasound is required.
• ARDMS certification in Obstetrics (OB) is mandatory.
• Experience in performing CVS and amniocentesis is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with GE Voluson E10 ultrasound equipment is required.
• Proficient in fetal measurement techniques including abdomen, abdominal circumference, bone lengths, and more.

Work Environment:

• Average daily census of 7-9 scans.
• Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour days (08:00 - 16:30).
• Call and weekend requirements are not mandatory.
• Patient age group includes adolescents and adults with various high-risk conditions.

Additional Information:

• Unit systems include Epic and Viewpoint.
• Scrubs are not provided; black scrubs are required.
• Orientation is per clinic needs, and the expected start date will be confirmed prior to the start week.
