Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides respiratory care services to patients requiring emergency care, intensive care, therapeutic treatment, and monitoring for pulmonary and cardiopulmonary disorders. The RRT is responsible for conducting diagnostic testing and patient education, as well as maintaining and monitoring respiratory equipment while participating in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Proficient in the use of ventilators
Knowledgeable in EKG interpretation
ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA)
NBRC certification
State license in Michigan (out-of-state licenses are not accepted)

Work Schedule

Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a requirement to work every other weekend (Friday and Saturday). No on-call requirements.
