Schedule

• Day shift, 4x9 hours, 7:00 to 16:30
• 36 hours per week, 9 hours per day
• Flexible 9- and 10-hour day shifts; 36 to 40 hours per week
• Every 4th weekend

Requirements

• MRI Technologist with 1 year of experience, including MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ARRT certification
• IV insertion skills
• Experience in an Emergency Department setting (ER/trauma experience)
• Abdomen/pelvis experience
• No state license required for radiology tech positions (MRI)

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Background checks: Criminal background check (within 1 year of start), EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG exclusion checks, and third-party education verification (diploma accepted with proof of verification attempts)
• Minnesota fingerprinting (DHS NetStudy): Candidate must complete the DHS questionnaire immediately after signing, then complete fingerprints within 2 weeks of registration. Candidates cannot start with fingerprints pending. Clearance, a "more time needed" letter, or a DHS exemption is required.
• Physical exam: Within 1 year of start
• Drug test: 9-panel or instant test within 1 year of start
• TB: Minnesota PPD requirements apply (two-step PPD, QuantiFERON, or T-SPOT), or positive PPD history with clear chest X-ray. Documentation must be in millimeters and state "Negative."
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines. Negative titers require 2 boosters at least 28 days apart. Candidates may start with the 2nd dose pending.
• Hepatitis B: Vaccination, positive titer, or declination
• Tdap: Required. Religious declination is not accepted.
• Flu vaccine: Vaccine or declination required (deadline 11/15). Candidates who decline must wear a mask at all times.
• Fit test: Required. N95 options are Halyard Fluid Shield or 3M 1860 (teal).
• Skills checklist: Required
• Competency exam: Required, 80% score or meet/exceed the Angoff score, updated annually
• Confidentiality agreement: Must be signed before start
• Photo for badge: Required (grey background, no selfies, saved as JPG)
• Education modules: Completed during orientation, averaging 16 hours
• Dress code: Must be reviewed before start
