CT Technologist - Multiple Full-Time Shifts Available

Available Shifts

• Full Time: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Full Time: 4:30 PM - 12:30 AM
• Full Time: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Schedule: Monday-Friday, alternating weekends and holidays

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $52.04 - $62.88 per hour

Position Summary

The CT Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic CT imaging procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, image quality, and customer service. This role works closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate imaging services.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for CT examinations according to established protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images and review studies for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist physicians during imaging procedures as needed.
• Perform equipment quality assurance testing and calibrations.
• Process images and maintain accurate documentation within EPIC, RIS, and PACS systems.
• Educate patients regarding imaging procedures and address questions or concerns.
• Maintain department cleanliness and report malfunctioning equipment.
• Participate in emergency coverage, on-call assignments, holiday coverage, and overtime as needed.
• Adhere to all departmental, hospital, New York State, and ACR quality standards.
• Serve as a preceptor or instructor for new staff when applicable.
• Provide compassionate care to patients across all age groups, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

QualificationsEducation

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Associate Degree in an allied health field preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of Radiology or CT experience preferred.

Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT (RT)(R) required.
• CT certification or documented CT training and experience preferred.
• New York State Radiology License required upon hire (or Limited Permit).
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire.
• New York State IV Certification required within 180 days of hire.
• Advanced ARRT CT Certification required within one year of hire.
• Must maintain continuing education requirements as required by governing bodies.
