Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist, Inpatient Rehabilitation – Topeka, KS 66606

Start Date: October 14, 2026

Location: Topeka, Kansas

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30), 40 hours per week. Three weekend days per 6-week schedule. 13-week assignment.

Highlights:

• Inpatient rehabilitation setting treating diverse patient populations including orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical patients
• Evaluate and treat patients across multiple units: Emergency Department, Ortho/Spine, Rehabilitation, Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical
• Collaborative interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum one year of experience
• Average daily caseload of 7 patient visits with approximately 50 therapy census

Requirements:

• Active Kansas Physical Therapy license required at time of submission
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum one year of physical therapy experience
• Experience with acute care, orthopedics, geriatrics, and post-stroke rehabilitation preferred
• Proficiency in gait training, assistive/adaptive devices, patient assessment, and discharge planning
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from the area
