Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Room – Lewiston, ME 04240

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Lewiston, Maine

Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 13-week assignment (91 days)

Highlights:

• Work in a comprehensive Emergency Center with a full spectrum of emergency care services and a separate Chest Pain Center
• Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process, including patient assessment, IV medication and therapy administration, and patient education
• Opportunity to serve in charge nurse and preceptor roles as needed
• Travel assignment with competitive compensation including overtime and holiday pay options
• Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with no disciplinary actions
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting
• At least 1 year of previous critical care nursing experience required
• Clean background check and licensure verification
• Willingness to work as charge nurse and preceptor when needed
