Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit / Medical-Surgical / Telemetry – Newport, VT 05855

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Newport, Vermont – Northeast Kingdom region

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, including every other weekend rotation. 36 guaranteed hours per week. 91-day assignment through February 1, 2027.

Requirements:

• Active Vermont RN license or compact state license
• Experience in Progressive Care Unit, Medical-Surgical, or Telemetry nursing
• Ability to work independently and assume charge nurse responsibilities
• Willingness to float to other units including Emergency Department and Mother/Child Health
• Attendance at department quarterly education sessions required
• Personal transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transit options
