Description
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Case Manager – Eureka, CA 95501
Start Date: November 30, 2026
Location: Eureka, California – Northern California coastal region
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30), every other weekend required. Patient caseload of approximately 20 patients. No call required. Floating between like units based on departmental needs.

Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital case management experience required
- Acute care case management experience must be current within the last year
- Epic charting system experience required
- Experience with HMOs, IPAs, advance directives, POLST, and protective services processes
- Skills in discharge planning, care coordination, DRG, prior authorizations, and appeals/denials management
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted with clinical approval
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
