Job Opportunity – Certified Surgical Technologist – Spokane, WA 99204

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

Schedule: Mid shift, 5x8-hour shifts (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM). On-call required once per week with one weekend per six-week schedule. Expected patient ratio 1:1.

Highlights:

• Work at a 629-bed teaching hospital designated as a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Main OR with 20 operating rooms and daily census of 55-60 cases covering all surgical specialties
• Scrub a wide variety of cardiovascular procedures; robotic experience preferred
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• Free parking and opportunity to work with patients across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• 91-day travel assignment with potential to return after three months

Requirements:

• Active Washington state license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• NBSTSA certification required
• BLS certification current
• Minimum one year of surgical tech experience required
• Neurosurgical skills required (hard stop requirement)
• Strong experience with cardiovascular procedures; must be able to scrub a wide variety of cardiovascular cases
• Experience with general OR, laparoscopic procedures, robotic surgery (Da Vinci Xi preferred), orthopedic procedures, and trauma cases
• Level I or Level II trauma experience preferred
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Ability to commit to working three of five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
