Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Obstetrics – St Francis, KS 67756

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Northwestern Kansas, near the Nebraska and Colorado borders

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week. Flexible 6 on/8 off scheduling available upon request. OB call schedule participation as assigned. Cross-coverage for Med/Surg or Emergency Department as needed.

Requirements:

• Current Kansas RN license or ability to obtain
• Obstetrics nursing certification and experience
• Advanced clinical skills in fetal heart rate monitoring, labor management, and maternal/newborn assessment
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies including shoulder dystocia, fetal distress, and postpartum hemorrhage
• Experience with oxytocin, magnesium sulfate administration, and obstetric protocols
• Strong assessment capabilities and ability to work independently in a rural hospital setting
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift/move patients per safe handling policies, and respond rapidly to emergencies
