Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Olympia, WA 98506

Start Date: December 1, 2026

Location: Olympia, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Patient ratios: 1:1 for labor patients, 3:1 for postpartum couplets. Approximately 160 births per month. Call coverage requested. Weekend shifts required; must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

13-week travel assignment at a 325-bed short-term acute care facility
27-room Labor and Delivery unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
EPIC charting system in use
First-time travelers welcome; this position covers ongoing leaves of absence
36-40 hours of orientation provided
One pre-approved time off period available when requested at time of submittal

Requirements:

Active RN license (Compact license required at time of submission)
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
Skills required: Labor and Delivery, circulate for C-section, recover C-section, IV start
EPIC charting experience preferred
Willingness to float within department and to similar units as needed
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
