Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Olympia, WA 98506

Start Date: December 1, 2026

Location: Olympia, Washington

Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts (06:45 - 17:15). Call required 3-4 shifts per month, including weeknight overnight and 24-hour weekend call. Schedule days may vary week to week based on staffing needs.

Highlights:

• 325-bed short-term acute care facility with 18 operating rooms (14 in Main OR, 4 in Ambulatory Surgery Center)
• 91-day travel assignment with 40 hours of orientation
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Exposure to diverse surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, and robotic procedures
• Opportunity to work in both Main OR and connected Ambulatory Surgery Center
• Comprehensive surgical experience with advanced technology including Da Vinci robotics

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital and Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Scrub experience preferred for general surgery procedures
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
