Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Ganado, AZ

Location: Ganado, Arizona

Schedule: Variable 12-hour shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week, 56-week assignment

Highlights:

• Emergency Department nursing position in a critical access hospital setting
• Participate in code blue response, Rapid Response Team, and trauma system protocols
• Provide comprehensive emergency care including triage using Emergency Severity Index (ESI), IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and patient education
• Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations and utilize cultural competency skills

• Flexible cancellation policy allowing up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract period

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Valid unrestricted RN license from Arizona or compact state
• Two years of clinical nursing experience in Emergency Department preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification required within 45 days of hire (reimbursement available after 90-day probation)
• Ability to perform critical assessments, triage, venipuncture, EKG interpretation, and basic laboratory procedures
• Must pass Employee Health Program requirements and background investigation
