Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, OB/Labor & Delivery – Ganado, AZ

Start Date: Late November or early December

Location: Ganado, Arizona

Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week. Preferred block schedule: maximum 5 days on, 5 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off. Two nurses per shift with one on-call for support.

Highlights:

• Critical Access facility with Level 1 nursery requiring experienced OB/L&D nurses
• Opportunity to utilize advanced skills in newborn stabilization and emergency obstetric care
• Nurse-to-patient ratios follow AWHONN perinatal staffing standards based on patient acuity
• On-site OR available for cesarean sections; OR circulator experience highly beneficial
• Physician or midwife on-call with timely response for patient care needs
• 91-day assignment with potential for housing assistance (limited availability)

Requirements:

• Current Arizona RN license or compact state license
• Required Certifications: NRP, EFM, Advanced EFM, BLS, ACLS
• Preferred Certifications: ALSO, S.T.A.B.L.E.
• Strong Labor & Delivery experience with NICU background preferred
• Experience from Level 2 or higher nursery strongly preferred
• Ability to stabilize and care for higher-acuity newborns awaiting transport
• OR circulator experience helpful for emergent cesarean section support
