Job Opportunity – Respiratory Therapist – Ellensburg, WA 98926

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Ellensburg, Washington – a rural farming community in the heart of the Cascades, approximately 2 hours from Seattle

Schedule: Night shift, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, 12.5-hour shifts with scheduled meal break. 36 hours per week for 13 weeks. Schedule may include weekends and holidays.

Highlights:

• Work in a 25-bed acute care facility with critical care, birthing services, and 24/7 emergency department (Level IV trauma designation)
• Provide high-quality respiratory care in a lower-acuity critical care environment with a supportive team culture
• One respiratory therapist per shift – opportunity to work independently and make critical clinical decisions
• Experience small-town charm while enjoying easy access to outdoor adventures in the Cascade Mountains
• Full range of inpatient and outpatient services with emergency physician coverage

Requirements:

• Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist license
• Required experience working in Labor and Delivery, including Bubble CPAP
• Ability to work independently and make critical clinical decisions
• Neonatal/Pediatric Proficiency rating of 3 or higher preferred
• Experience or strong interest in rural healthcare settings
• Cerner experience a plus
