Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Nurse – Lincoln, ME 04457

Start Date: December 7, 2026

Location: Lincoln, Maine

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 guaranteed hours). 91-day assignment through March 8, 2027.

Highlights:

• Emergency department nursing position with comprehensive patient care responsibilities across all age groups
• Collaborative environment with multidisciplinary team meetings and bedside rounding with hospitalists and case managers

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency preparedness programs
• On-call compensation available at $6 per hour pager rate

Requirements:

• Current Maine RN license or compact state license
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
• Current, unexpired certifications and complete immunization records required (varicella, Hepatitis B, MMR, Tdap, and two-step PPD within past 12 months; flu vaccination required during flu season)
• Strong nursing assessment skills and knowledge base for all age groups
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated critical thinking abilities
• Ability to perform physical demands including standing, walking, lifting up to 30 lbs, and patient mobility assistance
