Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Washington
• Experience in a Hospital setting
• Experience in a Long Term Care setting

Role Summary

• Plans and carries out rehabilitation programs to help patients regain physical function after injury or surgery
• May also help manage pain related to degenerative conditions or terminal disease
• Position is primarily outpatient with some inpatient work

Core Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical condition, symptoms, medical history, and provider referrals
• Diagnose movement dysfunction and develop individualized treatment plans
• Teach therapeutic exercises and stretches
• Use hands-on therapy such as massage to support healing and reduce pain
• Maintain detailed patient records and report progress to appropriate parties
• Communicate with patients, families, and the care team
• Participate in team coordination, problem-solving, and professional development activities
