RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Overview

Travel RN role in Lewisville, Texas
13-week contract
36 hours per week
Shift hours: 0600-1630 with a rotating off-day each week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experienced scrub nurse skills
Experienced monitor nurse skills

Preferred Experience

Experienced scrub
Experienced to monitor

Unit Details

Cardiac cath/EP lab
Patient ratio: 1:1 team
Rotating on-call coverage with at least 3 team members
Rotating minimum of 2 weekends per month

Procedures Performed

Left heart cath
PCI
Pacemaker and ICD implants
TEE
Cardioversion
Loop recorders
EP studies and EP ablations

Skills and Work Environment

Can float within the facility where the skill set is applicable
Can float to a sister facility within a reasonable radius
Ceil blue scrubs
Requires attention to detail, calm under pressure, teamwork, compassion, adaptability, flexibility, strong communication, and physical stamina
