Job Overview
- Travel RN role in Fort Worth, Texas
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- Schedule options: 3x12-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts
- Includes 6–7 days plus 1 weekend per month
- On-call requirement: 4–5 call days
- Floating required between two campuses
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a circulator
Unit Details
- First-floor operating room
- 7 beds
- Day shift staffing includes 1 OR RN and 2 CSTs
- Typical case load is 4–5 cases per team
Clinical Focus
- Circulating in the OR
- Positioning, prepping, and monitoring patients during surgery
- Common procedures include total joints, hip replacement, tibia and fibula surgeries, ankle and foot surgeries, plastics, breast reduction, robotic surgery, and breast reconstruction
