Operating Room RN

Overview

Travel RN role in Pasadena, Texas
13-week contract
36 hours per week
Operating Room unit
10-bed unit
Patient ratio: 1:1

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Orthopedics experience
Urology experience

Preferred Experience

Orthopedics
General surgery
Urology
Gynecology
ENT
Vascular
Pediatric experience

Schedule / On-Call

On-call required, including weekly call and 1 weekend per month

Unit Details

Day shift staffing includes RN, CST, first assist, PCT, anesthesia tech, supervisor, and director roles
Night shift is on-call only
Performs open, laparoscopic, and robotic general cases
Performs robotic orthopedics
Performs total knees and hips, trauma orthopedic cases, laparoscopic and robotic hysterectomies, tubal ligations, and emergent interventions
