RRT - Respiratory Therapy

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia
Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NBRC
NRP
PALS
ICU Experience

Preferred

Likes a fast paced environment
Rotating weekends
Call is preferable: one 24-hour shift every 5-6 weeks

Clinical Details

Typical equipment: oxygen, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, blood gas machines
Typical procedures: nebulizers, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilators, arterial blood gases
Patient ratio: normal floor assignment of 20-25 treatments per round
Day shift staffing: 3/4
Night shift staffing: 3
Scrub color: Navy Blue
