RN First Assist
Overview
- Contract role in Mauston, Wisconsin.
- Day shift: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- 36 hours per week.
- Call includes one weekend per month and 7 additional nights of call during the month.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- First Assist (1 year of experience).
- First Assist experience within the last year.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of related operating room/surgical experience.
Role Summary
- Assists the surgeon with exposure, hemostasis, closure, and other technical tasks during surgery.
- Assists with sterile supplies, instruments, equipment, and drapes.
- Assists with patient positioning, visualization, wound closure, drainage systems, and use of surgical equipment.
