Trauma Nurse Lead
Overview
- Travel RN assignment in Augusta, Georgia
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- Nights and weekends
Unit
- Emergency Department trauma area with 2 trauma bays
- Role works in the emergency room during the initial primary and secondary survey period
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Trauma experience
Preferred Qualifications
- ENPC
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
Clinical Skills / Experience
- Mass transfusion management using a Level 1 rapid infuser
- OR assistance when needed
- Strong IV background
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment
- Rapid critical thinking
- IV placement
- Spinal stabilization
- Splinting
- Assisting with chest tube procedures
- Traction
- Central and arterial line placement
- Emergency bedside procedures
