ED RN

Overview

Travel RN role in the Emergency Department.
Unit: Medical City McKinney Emergency Department, Main ED and PBED.
Setting details: 37-bed L2 Trauma ED on the 1st floor, Main building.
Schedule: 36 hours per week.
Contract length: 13 weeks.
Start: ASAP.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
TNCC
CPI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Meditech

Preferred

Typical ED experience
HCA/Meditech experience
Quick start date
Minimal PTO requests

Unit Details

Patient ratio: 1:4 in zone
Equipment: GE Monitors
Floating area: ED patients admitted to hospital holding in ED
Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts in 4 weeks
No call

Work Environment

Best personality fit: high energy, self-motivated, amicable
Dress code: Royal Blue top and bottom
