RN Cardiac Cath / Prep Recovery
Overview
- Day shift
- 40 hours per week
- 9-week contract
- On-call required: 4 weekdays and one weekend Friday-Sunday
- Weekend requirement: 1 weekend per month
- Holiday requirement: 1 summer and 1 winter shift of call
- Float requirement: no
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with right and left heart hemodynamics
- Experience with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
- Experience with Impella
- Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
- Circulating nurse experience
- Experience with Mac-LAB
- Electrophysiology Lab experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Critical care experience
- BSN preferred
- Prior experience with EPIC and Sensis
- EP experience
Relevant Clinical Skills / Experience
- Circulating nurse
- Mac-LAB
- Impella
- balloon Pump
- PCI
- Right heart cath
- Left Heart Cath
- Circulation during pacer insertion experience
- Pulmonary Embolism case experience
