PT - Therapy

Role

Travel PT for Blue Ridge Regional Hospital Rehabilitation Services.

Location

Spruce Pine, North Carolina
Main campus and Burnsville Outpatient Clinic

Contract

13 weeks
36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in North Carolina
Physical Therapist experience within the last year
BLS
2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
Experience in an Outpatient setting
Experience in an Acute Care setting

Preferred Qualifications

Orthopedic/Sports Med/Spine/manual therapy
Vestibular/vertigo/stroke

Unit Details

60-bed acute care setting and 2 outpatient clinics
19 staff members
Day shift staffing includes 3 PTs, 3 PTAs, 2 OTs, 1 COTA, and 1 SLP
Patient volume is 9-11 patients per day per FTE
Equipment includes PT modalities, pool, cardiovascular, Biodex balance, and a fitness center

Schedule

Rotation every 5th weekend
Saturday coverage is priority patients only, averaging 2-3 hours
No Sunday visits

Acute care: purple scrubs (eggplant)
Outpatient: business attire or polo-khakis
