NICU RN
Role
- RN in the NICU/SCN unit
- Special Care Nursery 2B
- 4-bed unit
Schedule
- 7a-7p or 7p-7a
- 36 hours per week
- Rotate weekends
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS
- NRP
- ACLS
- STABLE
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with High Risk patients
- Experience attending high-risk deliveries
Preferred
- At least 1 year of experience
- Collaborative problem solver
- Motivated
- Efficient
- Self-sustaining
Assignment Details
- If low census, patients will not be assigned; task work only
- Patient ratio: 1:3
- Common diagnoses/treatments: TTN, NAS, Hypoglycemic, preterm
- Equipment: GE, Baxter, Natus
- EHR: Paragon
