Labor and Delivery / Postpartum / Newborn Nursery RN
Overview
- Contract assignment in Hilo, Hawaii.
- 13 weeks.
- Variable day and night shifts possible.
- 12-hour shifts, 36 hours weekly, after the first week of orientation.
- Scheduled 12 hours call at least once per month.
- No guarantee of hours or shift preference.
Unit
- L&D: 8 labor beds.
- Postpartum: 18 beds.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Hawaii.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year.
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience).
- BLS.
- NRP.
Preferred
- STABLE.
- Advance FM.
Clinical Duties
- Care for laboring mom.
- Assist with delivery.
- Immediate care of newborn.
- Post-delivery care for mom.
Equipment / Systems
- Meditech.
- GE/Centricity fetal monitoring system.
