Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Mount Airy, North Carolina
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:00–16:00
• 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Locals accepted

Required Qualifications

• Echo Technologist (1 year of experience)
• Echo Technologist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ARDMS RDCS AE
• Experience working with Adult patients
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Experience in an Outpatient setting
• Experience in an Emergency Department setting
• 3-D Echo
• Bubble Study
• Imaging with Contrast Agents
• Pharmacologic Stress Echo
• Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)
• Treadmill Stress Echo
• Experience with Meditech

Preferred

• None stated

Unit / Clinical Setting

• Adult acute care, adult outpatient, Emergency Department, ICU
• Average daily census: 10
• Patient population: adults and geriatrics

Skills / Procedures

• 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Portable Studies, Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT), Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT), Routine, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Treadmill Stress Echo, LV Strain/LV Volume
• Procedures on patients in ICU/ED settings

Schedule / Logistics

• No call
• No float
• No weekends
• 16 hours of unit orientation
• Hospital orientation is during week one, and the traveler must be available for classes each day
• RTO after booking is not allowed; additional RTO or call-offs may result in cancellation and DNR
• Unit will review all time-off requests
