ICU RN
Overview
- Travel RN role in ICU and IMU
- 6 openings
- 13-week contract
- Orientation is bi-weekly
- Start dates listed: 10/12, 10/26, 11/9
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Shifts: 7A or 7P
- Weekend requirement: every other or every third weekend
- No call requirement
- Float required
- Tele overflow
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1.5 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Unit Details
- ICU floor
- 16 beds
- Patient ratios: ICU 2:1, IMU 3:1, Tele 1:5
- Adult patient population
Additional Information
- Joint Commission accredited
- Cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, and surgical services are part of the facility's services
- Equipment includes cardiac monitor, Hill-Rom Progressive Care series with bed scale, Abbott Glucometer, EndoTool, Bair Hugger, TR band, Hotline 3 fluid warmer, Baxter IV pumps, and bedside dialysis capability
- Common diagnoses/treatments: COPD, ARF, DKA, Sepsis, Shock
- Artificial nails are not allowed
