Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location: Lewiston, Idaho Employment type: Travel Contract length: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Weekly guaranteed hours: 40
Unit and Assignment
- Unit: Cath Lab, 2nd Floor
- Trauma/cardiac/stroke designation: Level 3 Trauma, Level 1 Cardiac, Level 2 Stroke
- Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology with Neuro Cases
- Number of beds: 2-room lab
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Equipment: Philips Xper
- Openings: 1
- Shift: 4 x 10s
- Weekend hours: On-call/call-back only on weekends
- Call requirements: 10 call shifts per month
- Float requirements: None
- Common diagnoses/treatments: Cardiac diagnostic, STEMI, device implants, interventional radiology angiogram, runoff, stroke treatment, cerebral, AAA, TCAR
- Additional notes: Heavy IR lab that provides stroke treatment; platinum-awarded Chest Pain Center
- Dress code: Hospital-issued scrubs only
Required Qualifications
- Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of experience
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS certification
- ARRT or RCIS certification
- Experience working with cardiac patients
Personality Fit
- Rural lab with high-acuity patients
- Candidate must be able to hit the ground running with minimal onboarding
