RN - Surgery

Location: Fort Mohave, Arizona Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: 0630 - 1500 Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week (40 hours per week listed) Openings: 1

Unit Details

Specialty: OR
Floor: First
Beds/Rooms: 6 ORs, 1 endo suite
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Patient Population: 70% adult, 28% geriatric, 2% pediatric
Patient Mix: 90% outpatient, 10% inpatient
Equipment: New Olympus laparoscopic/endo equipment, processors and monitors; Steris beds; Hana table
EHR: MEDHOST and CQI

Schedule

Weekend hours are for on-call only.
Call is shared evenly with other OR RNs. Call usually starts at 1700.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
BLS certification
Operating Room (OR) experience of at least 1 year, with experience within the last year
Experience in an acute care setting
Endoscopy experience
Orthopedics experience
OB/GYN experience

Float Scope

May float to PACU for a second RN.

Dress Code

Scrubs are provided.
Visible tattoos are acceptable if they fit professional standards.
Pornographic, foul-language, or inappropriate imagery on personal clothing is not acceptable.
