SLP Acute Care Hospital
Location: Seward, Alaska Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: 13 weeks Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Schedule
- Shift: Day, 5x8 hours (8:00 to 17:00), 40 hours per week
- Weekends: No
- Call Requirements: None
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks. The traveler can be called off for one 8-hour shift per 2 weeks.
- Block Schedule: Open to accommodating a block schedule
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Alaska
- Speech Language Pathologist (1 year of experience)
- Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
- BLS
- NBCOT
- IDDSI experience
First-Time Travelers
First-time travelers are accepted.

Housing
- Provided: The facility provides housing to travelers during the assignment.
- Unit Type: Typically 1-bedroom apartments, which may be shared with another traveler
- Move-In Window: No earlier than 72 hours before the contract begins and no later than 24 hours after it ends
- Occupancy: Typically sized for the traveler only. Additional family members are uncommon and require facility approval.
- Pets: Not allowed
- Cleaning: The unit must be cleaned upon departure or additional cleaning fees will be billed to the traveler.
