Radiation Therapy Tech

Location: Rochester, New York Unit: Radiation Oncology Assignment Type: Travel/Contract, 6 weeks, contract end date 1/2/27 Specialty: Cancer Services/Oncology (source also lists Radiology / Cardiology) Schedule: Day shift (5x8), Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, 8-hour shifts dependent on department needs, with 40 guaranteed hours per week. No Saturdays. Floating: Yes, to all other Radiation Oncology locations Local Candidates: Accepted if they live more than 75 miles away

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiation Therapist license in New York
Radiation Therapist (1 year of experience)
Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ARRT (T)
Experience with Epic

Adult acute care
Custom molds and custom shields
Tumor localization
Block cutting
B-mode acquisition targeting
CBCT/kV/mV imaging
Compensation filters
Portal casts
Wedges
Calculating radiation dose
External beam therapy
IMRT (intensity-modulated radiotherapy)
