Location: Rutherfordton, NC Employment type: Travel Contract length: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 (guaranteed) Openings: 1

Common diagnoses/treatment: CHF, COPD, CVA, Pneumonia

Unit Information

Beds: 24
Patient ratios:
- Main area (12 beds): 4:1
- Fast Track (5 rooms): 5:1
- Extension from main (6 beds): 6:1, with Medic and Charge assist
- 1 subwaiting room, primarily handled by the charge nurse
EHR: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Emergency Department (ED) experience: 1 year, with ED experience within the last year
ACLS certification
BLS certification
PALS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Travel eligibility: Candidates must live 60 miles or greater away to be considered for travel
Start requirement: All travelers must have required certifications before start
