PACU Registered Nurse (Travel)
Overview
- Location: Petaluma, California
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, 5 x 8 hours (8:00 to 16:30); variable day shifts 7, 8, 9, or 11
- Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) experience of at least 1 year, with experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Conditional Certifications
Certifications are required only if the unit's requirements specify them; verify with the unit. Listed certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, EFM, IV certification, MAB, NIH Stroke, and CPI.
Other Requirements
- Float policy: Float policy acknowledgement required. Traveler may be required to float to another facility within a reasonable distance.
- Annual training: About 3.5 hours of annual regulatory modules, plus California regional core modules.
