Manager of Med/Surg
Location: Gunnison, Colorado Employment Type: Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Week: 40
Role Overview
The Medical/Surgical (MS) Nursing Manager is responsible for supervising patient care, nursing staff, and MS operations. The role works collaboratively with the Leadership team to:
- Facilitate efficient clinical operations
- Support staff development
- Manage resources effectively
- Lead quality improvement on MS
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg experience (5 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- Experience in Manager roles
- BLS certification
- Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check
- Review all job description notes and meet certifications
