RN Med/Surg Travel Assignment
Location: Gallatin, Tennessee Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours: 36 per week (guaranteed) Start Timing: Orientation is weekly, on Mondays
Unit Information
- Unit: Medical Surgical Combination 4 (Floor: MS)
- Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric
- Beds: 12
- Patient Ratio: 6:1
- Openings: 1
- EHR: Meditech (software familiarity, not a credential)
- Float Scope: May float to other Med/Surg units as needed.
- Schedule: Shift per shift details. Weekend hours are every other weekend or as needed. No call requirements.
- Hospital Profile: 167-bed facility, Level III Trauma Center, accredited by The Joint Commission.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience, with Med/Surg experience within the last year
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
Dress Code
- Any scrub color.
- Casual wear is not acceptable.
