RN - ICU (SICU)

Location: Salem, Virginia Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36

Unit Details

Unit: SICU, 3rd Floor CCU, Main Building
Beds: 12
Staff: 32
Day Shift Staff: Director, Manager, Clinical Coordinator, RNs, Externs, Paramedic
Night Shift Staff: RNs, Externs
Patient Ratios: 2:1, 3:1, 1:1
Equipment: Tablo, IABP, Impella, Brain Cool, Swan Ganz, BIS, Vigilance, Baxter, Hemosphere, Pyxis
Typical Procedures: TVP, TCP, post cath, sheath removal, bedside trach, SLED

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
ACLS
BLS
SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience (2 years of experience), with experience within the last year

Preferred Qualifications

Cardiac experience
CCRN

Schedule and Assignment

Weekends: Every other weekend
On Call: None
Block Scheduling: No block scheduling guarantee
Floating: Throughout the facility
Scrub Color: Navy blue
