RN - ICU

Location: Salem, Virginia Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36

Unit Details

Unit: SICU (Surgical/Surgery ICU as listed: SICU), 2nd floor, Main building
Beds: 12
Staff: 34
Day shift staff: Director, Manager, Clinical Coordinator, RNs, PCTs
Night shift staff: RNs, PCTs
Patient ratios: 2:1, 3:1, 1:1
Equipment: CRRT, IABP, Impella, Arctic Sun, BIS, Vigilance, Cheetah, Pyxis
Typical procedures: Drains, central line placement
Float area: Throughout facility
Schedule: Every other weekend, no on call
Dress code: Navy blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ACLS
BLS
SICU - Surgical Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience within the last year
