Certified Surgical Technologist – Monticello, IL

Join our surgical team in a permanent, full-time opportunity in Monticello, Illinois!

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare the OR, instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures.
Scrub in and assist surgeons during operative and invasive procedures.
Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping.
Maintain sterile technique and ensure accurate instrument, sponge, and needle counts.
Handle surgical specimens and clean, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment.
Monitor supplies, restock rooms, and maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
Complete required documentation and participate in staff meetings and quality improvement activities.

Requirements:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
3 years of Surgical tech exp required.
Competency in surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, aseptic practices, and sterilization procedures.
Ability to assist with procedures involving adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical judgment skills.
Compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and HIPAA.
Must comply with the facility's zero-tolerance THC policy due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position.
