Description

Responsibilities:

Perform mammography procedures following established protocols and safety standards.
Evaluate images for quality, positioning, and identification of abnormalities.
Maintain equipment and report any issues for timely repair.
Practice proper patient identification techniques and maintain patient confidentiality.
Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort.
Ensure accurate documentation of procedures performed.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
Certification in Mammography.
Strong understanding of mammography equipment and techniques.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
Ability to maintain professionalism and provide compassionate care under various circumstances.

Additional Requirements:

Compliance with state and federal regulations related to mammography.
Continued education to stay updated with advancements in mammography technology and practices.
