Description
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and neurologic conditions in an outpatient setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Perform therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, gait training, and appropriate modalities.
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, self‑management strategies, and injury prevention.
- Monitor patient progress, modify plans as needed, and ensure optimal functional outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and facility standards.
- Uphold safety protocols, infection‑control practices, and facility policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Active physical therapist license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years outpatient experience, preferably in orthopedics or sports rehabilitation.
- Strong clinical assessment and manual therapy skills.
- Ability to travel and adapt quickly to new clinical environments.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
Preferred
- Experience in travel or temporary assignments.
- Certifications in orthopedic manual therapy, sports physical therapy, or related specialties.
