Join Our Team as a Compassionate and Skilled Occupational Therapist

FSN is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to become a vital part of our interdisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you will assess and develop personalized treatment plans to improve residents’ functional abilities and quality of life. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify residents' needs and strengths.
  • Develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to each resident’s unique circumstances.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, sensory processing, mobility, and adaptive functioning.
  • Recommend, evaluate, and train residents and staff in the use of adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and environmental modifications to promote independence.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, psychologists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and support staff to coordinate care.
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights to support comprehensive resident care plans.
  • Monitor and document resident progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed.
  • Provide training and consultation to caregivers and support staff on therapeutic techniques and best practices.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical interventions, maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Support residents in achieving their highest possible level of independence and community engagement.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license for the State of Texas, with proof of ongoing Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Malpractice and liability insurance (if applicable).
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to care.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Shift & Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
