Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technician specializing in Maternal-Fetal Medicine to join our team. In this role, you will perform advanced obstetric ultrasound examinations within a high-risk prenatal setting, supporting maternal-fetal medicine specialists with complex diagnostics and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct obstetric ultrasound examinations, including first-trimester screenings, detailed anatomy surveys, fetal growth biometrics, and amniotic fluid assessments.
- Perform specialized maternal-fetal imaging such as fetal echocardiography, cervical length measurements, and Doppler studies for high-risk pregnancies.
- Identify, document, and communicate fetal anomalies, placental abnormalities, and indications of fetal growth restriction to MFM physicians for diagnosis and patient counseling.
- Collaborate closely with maternal-fetal medicine specialists to support complex diagnostic workflows, urgent imaging needs, and high-risk patient management.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of examinations, findings, and technical procedures in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience performing OB/GYN or maternal-fetal ultrasound procedures.
- ARDMS certification with OB/GYN specialization required; RVT or RDMS credentials preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Fetal echocardiography certification is a plus.
- Strong understanding of obstetric imaging, fetal development, and high-risk pregnancy protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Work Schedule:
- Day shift, 5 days per week
- 8-hour shifts
